Custom Soundtracks, Improved Mixing and More

Today we’ve shipped a couple of important new audio features and improvements. We have added the ability to set an outro soundtrack, besides the intro soundtrack. Select from our vast library of over 15,000 licensed tracks or bring your own jam. That’s right — you can now upload your own soundtrack! 🎸

Our updated audio engine improves upon the already great sound quality. But more exciting, it is also a great foundation for us to continue to build upon. Before this update, Podopi only stitched the audio files together. Simple stuff, nothing advanced. This update turns it into an audio power-house, more capable than ever.

The new audio engine makes perfect transitions from music to speech, and vice versa. It performs complex analysis of the soundtracks and spoken audio. Then it feeds the audio through a set of processes to normalize volume without sacrificing dynamic range. In the end of all this, there will only be great mixes.

We want your audio mixes to be indistinguishable from that of a professional mixing engineer. This is a good step in the right direction, making your Podopi podcasts sound even better.
